Shakespeare In Love

Genoa Drama Club presents a yearly production of a fall play. This year please join us on November 22nd, 23rd, and 24th to experience a tale of lust, deceit, chivalry, and comedy; and to witness the comet rendition of Shakespeare in Love.

Jonah Goodrich

as William Shakespeare

He is a junior. He loves his family. He says "Always be yourself". Godspeed.

Alyssa Mullins

as Viola De Lesseps

Alyssa is now a senior and has been involved in drama club productions for four year. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, mostly her dog. She is also involved in cheerleading, band, and the spring musical. She hopes everyone enjoys the show! Don’t get too uncomfortable!

Fischer Bertok

as Kit Marlowe & Burbage's Heaviee

Fischer is a junior and has been in Drama Club for 2 years, however this is his first year acting in the play. He is the son of Gwen and Eric Bertok. He did lights in last year’s production of Get Smart. He would like to thank his family and friends for always being there. He hopes you enjoy the show:)

Alyssa Lopez

as Henslowe

Alyssa is a sophomore in Genoa Area High School and has been in Drama Club since freshman year. Some productions she has been in are Get Smart (2018) and Bye Bye Birdie (2019). She is the daughter of Crystal Munguia and Matt Gatlin Lopez. She has aspired to be on the stage since she could remember. From the tiny background character to lead supporting role, Alyssa has always been serious about her role and made herself do the best she can. No matter what she always helps out with other people and will put herself after others.

Peyton Fox

as Fennyman

Payton is a junior at Genoa high school and has been doing drama club for three years he is honored to play the role of Fennyman and would like to give a huge thank you to his family and friends and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Delaine Flores

as Frees

Delanie Flores is the daughter of Daniel and Stacie Flores. She has an older sister, Makenna Flores. She’s enthusiastic and incredibly energetic. She enjoys doing theatre and acting is a huge passion of hers.

Reagan Nye

as Ralph

Regan is a junior and is the daughter of Bill and Kim Nye. This is her second year of Drama Club, after starring as May in ‘Get Smart’ her sophomore year. She enjoys hanging out with the Drama Club kiddos because they never fail to make her laugh, her friends, especially her partner-in-crime, Sara, eating popcorn, and jamming out to music. She would first like to thank her parents for supporting her through everything and pushing her to be her best, her friends for making everything so fun, and her sister for being the best role model out there. She would lastly like to say thanks to everyone who came out to see the show and she hopes you enjoy it!!

Lily Lombardo

as Nol

Lilly is a freshman who loves theatre as well as many other things she’s involved with. Lilly has been in a few other plays being an understudy for Annie and a leading part in her fourth grade play. As well as theatre she is interested in other arts such as choir and band.

Ben Jackson

Ben Jackson has been involved in the fall play for 4 years. He is currently attending Penta for Inventory and Warehouse Operations, and he would like to thank his mom and dad for always supporting him!

Emma Steinmiller

as Adam

I am a Junior and i am 16 years old. I enjoy horseback riding and singing in my free time. This is my first year in the play but I have done musical almost every year since I was little!

Randy Matheny

as John Webster

Randy is a senior and has been apart of Drama Club for 3 years. He first played as Pops McCoy in "The Last Night of Vaudville" his freshman year and The Professer in "Get Smart". Randy is the son of Bill and Jenni Cannon. He also wrestles, runs cross country, and does spotlight for musical. Randy would like his friends and family for making High School fun and cheering him on.

Arianna Eff

My name is Arianna, I am senior, and I have been involved in multiple drama club productions whether that’s stage crew or just throwing a shoe onstage. This is my first acting part and I’m beyond excited. Enjoy the show!

Emma Gould

as Abraham

Emma has been involved in many musicals and plays over the years, including Anything Goes, The Sounds of Music, Our Town, Cheaper by the Dozen, Mary Poppins, Bye Bye Birdie, and Get Smart, whether it's on the stage or behind the scenes. She's involved around the school in Quiz Bowl, Youth to Youth, Choir, Musical, Drama Club, and Prom Committee. She'd like to thank her parents and grandmother for always being there for her and changing their schedules to fit hers and doing the best they can to keep up with her.

Breanna Burris

as Ned Alleyn

Breanna Burris is a sophomore at Genoa High School. This is her second production for Amanda Fox and Serena Parlette. She has been in 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨 (2016), 𝘎𝘦𝘵 𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵 (2018)”, and 𝘉𝘺𝘦 𝘉𝘺𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘦 (2019)”. She really enjoys being on stage and placing herself in someone else’s life (even though she can’t remember anything). She hopes you remember how good this play is! Sit back and let the chaos before your eyes! (p.s. thanks Grandma for always helping me with my costumes, Ms. Fox for being understanding, and Logan for letting me go to bed at 10 on rehearsal nights.)

Sierra Pyman

Sierra is originally from Michigan. But she moved to Ohio when she was in the 1st grade. She attended Holland, then transferred to Genoa in the 5th grade. She is a junior in high school. She has been in the fall play freshman year and her junior year. Her Freshman year she did the skit "Scared Straight"

Shane Pierce

as Burbage

Shane Pierce has played the Chief in Get Smart and the Mayor in Bye Bye Birdie. He'd like to thank his parents and friends.

Reagan Wiciak

as Mistress Quickly and Kate

Reagan is a freshman at Genoa High School. This is her first performance in the school play. Reagan plays soccer and basketball. Reagan would like to thank her family and friends for always being there for her.

Sara Dembowski

as Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth I

Sara is a junior and plays the Queen Elizabeth I in tonight’s play. She is the daughter of her two amazing parents, Andrew and Karen Dembowski. In school, she is involved in Varsity Cheerleading, Musical, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Chorus, and Key Club. Outside of school, she volunteers at the Toledo Zoo and is a member of the Portage Resale Youth Council. She played Miss Finch in last years play Get Smart. Sara would like to thank her parents and grandparents for everything they do for her and loves them all so very much! She would also like to thank all her friends for always making her laugh and being the best friends a girl could ever have. Sara would also like to make a shoutout to Regan for always being there for her and making her laugh until she cries ;) Now just sit back and enjoy the play! (plus all of our english accents haha)

Sophie Cashen

Sophie Cashen is a freshman and a first time drama kid. She's also in band and choir and loves to perform. She dedicates her performance tonight to her mom and dad, Heather and Tom Cashen.

Maddie Coleman

Maddie is a part of band, drama club, prom committee, student council, and choir. She works at McDonalds. She plays guitar, ukulele, and clarinet. She also speaks French and Spanish.

Connor Beaty

as Lord Wessex

Connor is the son of Deb and Chad Beaty. Connor is currently a senior at Genoa Area High and has been in the plays Get Smart, Lend Me a Tenor, The Last Night of Vaudeville and now Shakespeare in Love. Connor is involved in Band, and Musical and has very much enjoyed his time while at GHS. He would like to say thank you to Mrs. Fox for an amazing four years in drama club and thank you to all the amazing memories and friends he made over the years. Thank you guys for being a second family to me and always cheering me up when I need it the most.

Grace Commander

Grace is a Sophomore and this is her first year in a production. She likes band and hanging with friends. She'd like to thank her mom and stepdad for their support and Friends for making her join theatre

Sarah Jimerson

Sarah Jimerson is a freshman at GHS, participating in her first theater production. She participates in soccer, basketball and band as well. She would like to thank her brothers for being great and encouraging her to be in drama club and her friends Aradia, Ashley, Nathan and Connor for helping her out and making school not blow, you guys rock.

Olivia Wiciak

as Molly

Olivia is a junior at Genoa High School. This is her first performance in the school play. Olivia is involved in soccer and basketball at GHS. Olivia would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her.

Bella Klimkowsky

as The Sonnet Reader and Edward Tilney

Bella is the daughter of Brett Klimkowsky and Terri Kent. She is involved in multiple extracurricular activities such as band, NHS, and work. She has participated in drama club for the last years with both acting and stage crew. Bella would like to thank everyone in the audience for supporting drama club. She would also like to thank her friends and family for help, support, and always making her laugh.

Matthew Robinson

Marketing and PR Manager

Matthew is a senior and is ready to graduate. His masterwork was his 2017 fall play debut with his sketch "Donny". Special thanks to Kenneth T. Reno. Additionally, he would like to add that he believes that life is a soup and God made him a fork.

Kenny Reno

Kenny Reno is the mastermind behind the entire play. He helped with everything from the posters to the presale tickets. Kenny, along with Matt, has worked tirelessly on making this production a success and he hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Nathaniel Heinze

Born October 16, 2002, I was taught by my dad from a relatively young age how to work with power tools and build numerous constructs. HEY MOM I'M IN A PROGRAM, LOVE YOU.

Alexis Hayward

Alexis is a Freshman in high school and this will be her first time being on the stage crew. She is also involved in Key Club and plays the trumpet in marching band. She also is currently breeding leopard geckos as a side hobby. Alexis is planning on doing stage crew throughout her high school career and hopes that it will be a fun experience.

Nathan Rowe

as "Stage Manager"

Nathan is in Y2Y, FFA, & Drama club. Nathan is the son of Erin Kozina, Eric Kozina (step father), and Roger Rowe. Nathan enjoys a challenge and quickly volunteered for the stage manager position. Nathan says- "if it helps someone else, I'm in."

Drake Hamiliton

Drake is a junior at Genoa highschool. This is Drake's first year in theatre. In his free time he likes to play guitar, and hang out with friends or family.

Addison Balduf

Addison is a freshman at GHS, this is her first year in a production. She is a part of the costuming team. She enjoys playing with her bird in her free time. She wants to thank her parents and grandparents for supporting her and helping in any way they can.

Nikki is a freshman and this is her first year being a part of a production at GHS. She is a part of costuming along with Addison Balduf. She would like to thank her mom for always supporting her.

Richard Mains is in 9th grade and this is his first production ever. He has enjoyed working on stage design and properties. In his free time, he likes helping his father around the house, playing video games, and watching Netflix. He would like to thank his mom and dad for their support.

Emma Lau

Emma Lau has been in drama club for the last four years. She has spent her time both on and off the stage and has enjoyed every minute of it. This year she had opted to lend her talents to back stage, helping with the riggings. Emma would like to thank her mom, Connor, Ty, and Zach for making these past few years the best of her life.
